EN 1300 for locks
In the test according to EN 1143-1 safes have to be supplied with locks which meet the test requirements. These locks are tested according to the EN 1300 standard and are devided in grades A to D. Grade D meets the most strict requirements.
As far as class III one lock is sufficient. This lock can be a double bearded key lock as well as a mechanical combination lock or a electronic code lock. From class IV at least two locks, which meet the EN 1300 standard, have to be installed to the safe.
All electronic locks of M-LOCKS (Direct Drive, Rotobolt and Straightbolt) are certified according to VdS Class 2/EN 1300 B.
The alarm connection box 334 is certified according to VdS G 196099.
All mechanical locks of M-LOCKS (KL3907 and ML6740) are certified according to VdS Class 2/ EN 1300 B.
