It was the early 70's when Nick Gartner started within the security industry. From his work in the Apollo space program he learned the latest in manufacturing- and production technologies.

Nick Gartner invented the easy mechanical safe lock, but soon after that he founded LA GARD in California. From the mid-70's many new products, with revolutionary capacities have been developed.

After selling the company, Nick Gartner launched a new range of locks under the label NL LOCK. M-LOCKS appreciated this line of products and they are put on the market under the brandname M-LOCKS

These locks are recognized by their design, quality engineering and cost-effective manufacturing.
